Binance has announced that it has completed its 23rd quarterly burn of BNB tokens, eliminating 2.02 million tokens from its supply. The exchange used its BNB Auto-Burn procedure for this initiative, as per its blog post, which read, "The 23rd quarterly BNB token burn of 2,020,132.25 BNB has been completed."

Binance's 23rd quarterly BNB token burn included tokens burned through both the Auto-Burn process and the exchange's Pioneer Burn Program. The burn totaled 2.02 million BNB, with 656.0230123 of those tokens burned via the Pioneer program. The burn was completed in April at block height 308695809, and incurred a small fee of 0.002 BNB to process.

#Binance committed to removing 100 million #BNB tokens, or half of its total supply, through regular burning processes, which would leave only 100 million BNB in circulation. The exchange automatically honours this commitment each quarter. In the 22nd quarterly burn conducted in January, approximately 2 million BNB tokens valued at $600 million were taken out of circulation. Similarly, in the 21st quarterly burn held in October of last year, Binance burned 2.06 million tokens worth $548 million.
