The Day the Market Flipped: From $75,618 to $81,105
$BTC $ETH Thursday ended, and with it came the week's biggest lesson: on a news night, no level is sacred, and no sell-off is final until the whole market has spoken.
First, the facts:
• Bitcoin: from a $75,618 low on election night to an $81,105 peak, its highest since October 29, then trading around $80,500
• Ethereum: up about 6.5% to around $2,425, outperforming Bitcoin
• Solana: around $95.60, up about 3%
• Liquidations: $951 million in 24 hours, with 76% of Bitcoin liquidations being shorts
• Flows: $1.16 billion out of Bitcoin ETFs over three sessions, and $85.35 million out of Ethereum ETFs on November 3
• Politics: Democrats will control both chambers of Congress from January, and the crypto market-structure bill faces a harder path
Second, yesterday's scorecard, honestly:
• Partly right: the break below $75,625 did happen — by a few dollars only
• Wrong: assuming the break meant deeper downside — the market reclaimed $76,588 and passed $80,000 the same day
• Lesson: the break alone is not the signal; what happens after it is — and the fast rebound was the signal
Third, what is next:
• Friday at 16:30 Amman time: the US jobs report, expected at 55,000 to 65,000 jobs with 4.2% unemployment
• Tomorrow's key level: holding above $80,000 means the rebound has entered a new phase; losing $78,200 invalidates the strength case
So what does it all mean? One day redrew the whole map — from break-down fear to a holding test above $80,000 — and the smart move is to watch the hold, not to celebrate the peak.
Tonight's question: does tomorrow close above $81,105, or back below $80,000 before the report? Reply above or below.
