Bullish for today, but it won’t be confirmed until we break above 78039. $BTC 4H has moved back above both moving averages, so yesterday’s reasons for being bearish are gone.

Yesterday I said that a close below 77060 would shift us to the bearish side. That call was wrong. Price didn’t move lower; instead, it climbed back to 77859. Both positions I closed yesterday hit their stop-losses. I accepted the losses as planned and didn’t try to hold on.

I’m holding two long positions. $HOT is currently up +11.36%, with a stop-loss at 0.0004953. It’s still below my entry price, but I’ll keep holding as long as the structure remains intact. $ICNT is just getting started, up +0.70%; I’ll exit if it hits 0.2135. Both positions are in my copy-trading portfolio, so followers have the same entries and stop-losses as I do.

On sentiment, the Fear and Greed Index is still in the fear zone at 26, but the BTC funding rate is only 0.01%, so shorts aren’t overcrowded. That means this rebound isn’t being driven by a short squeeze; it looks more like selling pressure is gradually easing. It also means there isn’t enough fuel overhead for price to surge through resistance all at once—it’ll have to work its way up candle by candle.

Plan: I’m watching 78039 above, the swing high for this 4H move. A 4H close above it would turn the bullish bias from a watch into a confirmation, and I’ll keep holding my longs. Below, I’m watching 77687, the 4H slow moving average. A 4H close back below 77687 would invalidate today’s bullish view, and I’ll go back to watching from the sidelines. I won’t act between those two levels.

The worst thing to do today: rush into a long because I was wrong yesterday. If I’m wrong, I just need to admit it. I don’t need to make it back on the next trade.
