Today, buying $USDT on the P2P market costs Bs. 1.017,02, and selling it costs Bs. 978,27. That difference of Bs. 38,75 (3,96%) isn’t the problem. The problem is how hastily many people trade when they see the 14,62% premium over the BCV rate of Bs. 887,30. 👀

With 219 active offers and such a volatile market, scammers don’t need a new trick: they just need you to be in a hurry.

🔍 How I protect my trades (and you should copy me):

1️⃣ The name of the account holder paying you MUST match the verified name on their Binance profile. If the payment comes from a third party, cancel the trade. No exceptions.

2️⃣ Don’t release the $USDT until you see the deposit reflected in YOUR bank’s app. Not in a screenshot, not in a message, not in a WhatsApp voice note. In your app.

3️⃣ Images of payment receipts can be edited in two minutes. The actual balance can’t.

4️⃣ Never take the conversation outside the Binance chat. If they message you elsewhere “to speed things up,” you’ve already lost the protection you’d have in a dispute.

5️⃣ Be wary of anyone offering a rate far above the market average. If the price is too good to be true, you’re the one paying the risk.

⚡ Keep the context in mind: with the exchange-rate gap under pressure and $USDT hitting Bs. 1,000 since October, a lot of new people have entered P2P trading. More volume, more urgency, more bait. A high premium won’t make you money on its own: your estimated outcome depends on the spread, fees, and the exchange rate at the time, so don’t think you’re invincible.

🛡️ Security isn’t a preliminary step: it’s the habit of trading calmly, keeping records, and always using the same account. Staying organized protects you more than any rate.
