Context: The USDT/VES P2P traffic light showed yellow (“moderate caution”), with a score of 67 out of 100 in the snapshot taken at 10:00 on October 8, 2026. The premium over BCV was 20.11%, and the gap between the aggregate buy and sell prices reached 7.76%. It’s not a broken market, but it’s also not a market to trade from memory.

📊 Morning dashboard: BCV, parallel rate, and USDT

These are the three prices that frame any decision in today’s P2P trading session:

• BCV: Bs 874,7321 per dollar, with no reported change.

• Parallel (Binance P2P reference): Bs 1.016,18, with its own spread of 1,98 Bs (0,20%).

• USDT P2P (Radar P2P): buy reference at Bs 1.050,63 and sell reference at Bs 974,98. Spread of 75,64 Bs, equivalent to 7,76%.

• USDT premium over BCV: 20,11%. Measured against the euro of BCV (Bs 979,08), the premium is almost identical: 20,11%, with the parallel euro at Bs 1.175,95.

Useful calculation: using the reference prices from the aggregate, 100 USDT equals Bs 97.498,13 and Bs 1.000.000 equals 1.025,66 USDT. These are reference figures, not executable quotes: they change with every announcement.

📈 The two spreads people confuse

Here’s the fine point of the day. The 7,76% spread and the order book spread don’t measure the same thing.

• Aggregate spread (7,76%): measures the dispersion between the best buy offer and the best sell offer captured by Radar P2P, mixing payment methods, amounts, and different merchant profiles. It’s a friction thermometer, not a real cost of entering and exiting at the same time.

• Order book spread (0,23%): best ask at Bs 1.017,80 and best bid at Bs 1.015,50, with an average price of Bs 1.016,65 and a gap of just 2,30 Bs. That’s what someone sees when looking at real depth on Binance.

Reading: when the aggregate spread is inflated but the order book is flat, the difference usually comes from ads with less liquid methods or atypical limits. In that case, it’s wise not to trust the percentage headline and to review the book level by level before concluding that the market broke.

🔎 Banks: who has volume and who has a tighter spread

The day’s bank comparison ranks the eight monitored methods this way. Only published data is included; where no average sell price is recorded, the spread can’t be calculated.

Method Ads Spread (Bs) Spread % Score Liquidity Other method 46 83,58 8,33% 65 29,5% Mobile Payment 38 77,76 7,74% 58 24,4% Banesco 30 39,27 3,88% 71 19,2% Banco de Venezuela 12 n/d n/d 53 7,7% BANK 9 n/d n/d 50 5,8% Mercantil 8 8,46 0,83% 46 5,1% PagoMovil 2 n/d n/d 42 1,3% Provincial 2 n/d n/d 42 1,3% Facts: Banesco leads in score (71) with 30 ads and the tightest spread among the high-volume methods (3,88%). Mobile Payment concentrates the largest share of liquidity (24,4%) but with a wide spread (7,74%), and “Other method” is the most numerous in ads (46) and also the most dispersed (8,33%). Interpretation: methods with the most ads aren’t automatically the most efficient on price; they’re often the noisiest. With only 8 ads, Mercantil shows a spread of 0,83%, supported by very aligned prices (buy Bs 1.021,50 / sell Bs 1.013,04).

Watch out for Banco de Venezuela, BANK, PagoMovil, and Provincial: they don’t record an average sell price in the screenshot, so any spread attributed to them would be made up.

💰 Binance vs other platforms: the reported gap and its nuances

The difference signal between exchanges reported a gap of 6,55%: Binance offering USDT at Bs 1.013,59 versus Bs 1.079,96 on other platforms. Read it with caution.
