U.S. nonfarm payrolls increased by just 29,000 in September, well below expectations. The market all but ruled out an October rate hike, and Bitcoin surged to $86,000. It briefly came close to $87,000, its highest level in eight months, before pulling back; even so, it remains above $86,000. Ethereum is hovering around $2,700, and the Fear and Greed Index is near 70, in greed territory. ADA is leading the day’s gains, up around 10%, while DOGE is up more than 3%. As for institutions, Metaplanet added a net 1,000 BTC in the third quarter, bringing its holdings to 44,000, and Saylor posted “increasingly orange” again, hinting at a possible additional purchase. Keep an eye on HYPE’s unlock tomorrow, worth around $339 million. $87,000 remains a key resistance level.
