DogeOS launched its Chikyū public testnet, bringing EVM-compatible smart contracts to the Dogecoin ecosystem. ⛓️
⚙️ Developers can build DeFi, trading, lending and stablecoin applications using familiar Ethereum tools, while DOGE is used for transaction fees. 💰
🚀 The network targets around 300 transactions per second with roughly 3-second blocks, compared with Dogecoin’s slower base layer.
A mainnet launch date has not yet been confirmed.
