The price can be right, and the trade can still be wrong.
Imagine an agent preparing to swap 2 ETH for USDC. Three independent price sources agree, and the data passes its freshness checks. But the user authorized a swap of only 0.5 ETH.
Good market evidence does not authorize a larger transaction.
Afterward, a transaction hash alone cannot tell a reviewer what was approved before the trade or whether the observed execution matched it.
I think an agent trade needs three separate answers:
Was the evidence usable when the decision was made?Was this exact action authorized?Did the observed execution match that authorization?
These are the questions I work on with Insight and PriorSeal. If you were reviewing an agentโs trade afterward, which answer would you insist on seeing first?
