$BTC desks are holding the least $BTC on
this Crypto Quant series in years.
the blue balance has slid from about
500,000 to 550,000 bitcoin in 2021 toward
the low 120,000s now, a drop of roughly
400,000 coins since 2022. the latest prints
sit near 123,000 to 150,000 depending on
the snapshot. that inventory is what large
buyers used to lift without hitting the public
order book.
empty desks are not the same as zero
supply. coins left those wallets for ETFs,
treasuries and cold storage. Strategy alone
holds 846,000 $BTC . IBIT has been a bid for
months. the float did not vanish. it changed
