Every time I understand more that not all cryptocurrencies are trying to do the same thing.
$BTC Digital money and a store of value.
$ETH Infrastructure for smart contracts and applications.
$SOL / SUI: Layer 1 to build applications, marketplaces, and services on top of blockchain.
LINK: Infrastructure that connects blockchain with real-world data.
XRP: Transfer of value and related applications for payments.
DOGE / SHIB: They show us how communities and ecosystems can create utility around a token.
Maybe it’s not about one single cryptocurrency replacing the whole system.
We could end up using different networks for different functions, often without even realizing we’re using blockchain.
That’s why I want to understand what each asset I’m buying could be used for.
