New Expansion for Payments with Stablecoins
Hyundai Card is moving to expand its stablecoin payment model on the Avalanche $AVAX network, following the success of a real-world trial for transfers between Hyundai units in the United States and Mexico.
In the trial, $20,000 was converted to USDT and sent via Avalanche, with the transfer completed and verified in about 7 minutes—compared to several hours for traditional bank transfers.
The most important next step is to move from proof of concept to real-scale expansion, and to test the model’s ability to handle larger transaction volumes and more complex operating costs.
If this phase succeeds, stablecoins could become part of the infrastructure for payments and transfers between global companies, rather than just an experimental use case.
