Shares + crypto infrastructure: WHAT IS bStocks IN PLAIN WORDS?

If you use Binance, you’ve probably already seen bStocks. But what are they, exactly?

In simple terms: bStocks are tokenized securities that provide exposure to certain traditional assets through the blockchain.

For example, Binance has already added bStocks linked to companies and ETFs such as AMD, Intel, Oracle, Strategy, and other assets.

What I find interesting:

• you can get exposure to the traditional market via crypto infrastructure; • some bStocks can be traded on Binance Spot; • trading is available 24/7 within the product and market availability; • for certain bStocks, there is an option for automated recurring purchases.

But there’s an important nuance.

bStocks are not ordinary stocks. A bStock holder does not become a direct owner of the shares of the corresponding company. They are a tokenized security that represents an interest in the underlying asset.

So before buying, I would look not only at the potential profit, but also at the jurisdiction, the terms of the specific bStock, liquidity, and risks.

For me, the main idea behind bStocks is a bridge between traditional financial assets and blockchain infrastructure.
