AI companies reach out for help: OpenAI records computer actions, while Google uses uploaded content to train AI. Axios begins investigating what user data AI companies are actually collecting. The findings show that chat logs aren’t enough anymore. Now they also want to know what you click on your computer, what photos you upload, and what content you’ve viewed—then use that data for memory, personalization, and advertising. OpenAI has added Computer History. Once Mac users manually enable it, ChatGPT and Codex can record your clicks, inputs, and switches within specific apps and websites, gradually building a long-term work memory about you. The feature is turned off by default; it doesn’t record your screen or audio. OpenAI says temporary action logs won’t be used to train its models. Google is even more aggressive. A new Search Services History will save images, documents, and audio/video that users upload through services like Lens, Search Live, and Translate—and it can also be used to train generative AI. For accounts that meet the criteria, it’s enabled by default; if you want to opt out, you have to do it yourself. Even some data that is later unlinked from an account may be retained for up to 4 years after entering the training process. Advertising has kept up too. Meta will use users’ interactions with Meta AI to adjust the content and ads on Facebook and Instagram; OpenAI and Google are also exploring ad models for chatbots. The better AI understands you, the more detailed the “portrait” the ad system has in its hands. What used to be a concern was that chat logs would be used for training. Now, even how you work on your computer—and what you throw into Google—has started to become data in the hands of AI companies.

No matter whether open-source AI wins or closed-source AI wins, cybersecurity will be the ultimate winner! Palo Alto and CrowdStrike seize the windfall of the AI inference era!The Wall Street financial giant Wells Fargo Bank recently released a research report stating that cybersecurity supergiant $CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ and $Palo Alto Networks (PANW.US)$ are seeing momentum in growth of orders for cybersecurity software products driven by the rapid expansion of the AI inference market. After AI moves into the stage of large-scale, massive inference and AI intelligent agent-style workflows (Agentic AI), cybersecurity demand is not simply likely to accelerate growth by “updating and iterating alongside cutting-edge AI technologies.” Instead, it may see a structural incremental expansion far beyond traditional IT spending.

BTC is now 64,236, stuck at the Bollinger mid-band position, holding on! The ETF is still being sold continuously, with net outflows of $389 million. The bears’ target is directly aimed at 62,000!

The ETF has been hitting the sell button all along. You think this is the bottom, but it might just be a midpoint in the downtrend!

BTC’s current price is 64,077. On the 1-hour timeframe, it’s just clinging to the Bollinger mid-band at 64,078. The MACD has already formed a dead cross and is turning downward, RSI is at 45, and the overall trend is weak. This is not “bottoming” — it’s more like a weak, sideways grind.

In terms of news, pay close attention to: last week’s U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $389 million, as institutions quietly pull back. Analysts have warned that if the daily candle closes below 62,300, it will most likely test the year’s low at 57,800 next!

The range from 62,000 to 66,500 looks like a back-and-forth consolidation, but in reality it’s the zone where institutions are distributing/disposing of holdings.

Also, be cautious with the “big whales”: on-chain, large transfers are decreasing and market activity is dull. This kind of calm is often a signal before a big drop.

My view: most of the current bounces are basically bull-trap moves. The 64,000–64,500 area has become a strong resistance zone. Below that, 62,300 is the final critical line of defense for the bulls.

Strategy reference: if price rebounds into 64,000–64,500, you can place short orders in batches, first targeting 62,300 and 62,000. For those who want to go long, you must wait until the 62,300 level clearly shows signs of bottoming and stabilization before trying a long position with a small size, with a target around 64,500.

Toyota and BYD can actually use USDT to buy cars. #USDT🔥🔥🔥
In Bolivia, Toyota and BYD dealerships have already started supporting USDT payments for car purchases. Since the local foreign exchange reserves are insufficient and the local currency has depreciated by nearly 50%, USDT has become an important option for businesses and individuals to hedge against currency exchange-rate risk.

🚀 🚀Crypto Market Today|August 18
$BNB 🧧🧧
Bitcoin has reclaimed $64,000, and market sentiment has warmed up.
After net outflows of about $390M last week, the U.S. spot BTC ETF recorded roughly $137M in net inflows on August 17, with Fidelity contributing notably.
However, this looks more like a rebound than a trend reversal. The market is still waiting for more macro and regulatory signals.
🔥 Key Highlights Today
1️⃣ Binance plans to apply for a UK license
Binance is preparing to apply for authorization under the FCA’s new digital asset regulatory framework.
The UK’s new regulatory regime is expected to open applications by the end of September 2026. Binance plans to expand its UK business again through compliant channels.
2️⃣ BTC ETF flows improve
After a streak of outflows, spot Bitcoin ETFs have finally returned to net inflows.
About $137M in single-day net inflows provides some support for BTC breaking above $64K.
3️⃣ Jane Street holds nearly $1B in Bitcoin ETF exposure
Jane Street has disclosed holding roughly $990M in Bitcoin ETF exposure, with a substantial portion coming from BlackRock’s IBIT.
Institutional interest in Bitcoin remains strong.
4️⃣ Cboe pushes 3x leveraged BTC / ETH ETF products
Cboe is advancing leveraged products including a 3× Bitcoin ETF and a 3× Ethereum ETF, while also covering gold, silver, crude oil, and natural gas.
If approved, leveraged products in traditional markets and the crypto market will further converge.
5️⃣ The U.S. continues to refine stablecoin regulation
The U.S. is moving forward with the implementation rules for the GENIUS Act, establishing a clearer regulatory framework for payment stablecoins.
Stablecoin regulation is shifting from “discussion” to concrete execution.
6️⃣ Institutional capital keeps focusing on Bitcoin Mining
Duquesne Family Office, under Stanley Druckenmiller, has added positions in several Bitcoin Mining companies, including Bitdeer, Riot, Hut 8, and IREN.
Institutional interest in BTC ecosystem infrastructure continues to grow.

👀 What to Watch Next
August 19: White House crypto industry meeting + FOMC meeting minutes.
BTC reclaiming $64K is a positive signal, but more inflows and macro catalysts are still needed to confirm the trend.
The rebound looks great—confirmation will have to wait a bit longer.

📌Oh my, is Ethereum about to climb up 15,000? 😱

On August 17, BitMine’s chairman Tom Lee cited technical analysis, expressing expectations for a potential technical breakout in Ethereum.

Ethereum’s current price is only 3.5% away from the top boundary of the Ichimoku cloud of the daily chart—this would be the first time it has closed above that key resistance since October 9, 2025.

At present, the price of Ethereum is around $1,906, with cloud resistance just within reach.

Tom Lee continued his earlier bullish view on Ethereum. He previously posted publicly in July that the ETH/BTC ratio would strengthen in the second half of 2026. His core logic centered on the combined momentum of ETH’s monetary narrative, stablecoin growth, and the tokenization of assets.

The top of the Ichimoku cloud is regarded by technical analysts as an important reference for trend reversals. If it breaks out effectively, it may open up further upside room.

Nvidia invests $1.5 billion to take a stake in SB Energy, targeting 8GW of AI computing capacity; OpenAI will be the sole tenant
On August 17, Nvidia announced a strategic partnership with SB Energy to provide credit guarantees for the PORTS-Pike Technology Park in Ohio, helping build it into a massive data center dedicated to Nvidia’s AI computing infrastructure, with OpenAI as the sole tenant. At the same time, Nvidia invested $1.5 billion in SB Energy.
With this move, Nvidia directly entered the underlying infrastructure segment of land, power, and facilities (LPS). Its significance goes far beyond a typical data center investment. The key change is that Nvidia is using its own creditworthiness to “underwrite” financing for AI infrastructure, in return for long-term and exclusive allocation of computing capacity. This marks the chip giant expanding from being merely a supplier of AI hardware into a core participant and organizer in building and operating “AI factory” infrastructure.

ALPHA Airdrop Calendar
I just came back recently. Right now I don’t have any tokens, but 8.25 TERMMAX is about to be listed. If you’ve done tasks before, brothers, remember to keep an eye on it.

Next, let’s talk about the DUSK project.

Brothers, writing on-chain contracts isn’t rare. What’s rare is writing a contract that can “keep secrets”—this used to drive developers crazy. In plain terms: if you want privacy, you have to study a niche “privacy language” first; if you want convenience, you have to put all the data on-chain for everyone to see. It’s a choice between two.
🏦 Dusk’s solution is a two-card combo: DuskEVM + Hedger.
In simple words: DuskEVM is an “Ethereum-compatible” application layer—write Solidity directly (Ethereum’s most mainstream contract language), no need to learn from scratch, and the barrier drops dramatically.
Hedger is the more critical part. It’s Dusk’s EVM privacy module, built on two hard technologies: homomorphic encryption + zero-knowledge proofs. Homomorphic encryption sounds mysterious, but plainly speaking it means you can compute “while the data is still encrypted,” without decrypting and exposing it first. Zero-knowledge proofs mean: “I’m doing things correctly, but I won’t show you the details.” When they work together, contracts can be both private and still run.
But let me say the ugly truth upfront: DuskEVM is still in a “coming soon” state, not something already running. The official line has always been “coming.” Anyone telling you “it’s already live” is just blowing smoke.
This is exactly where it’s smart— it doesn’t force developers to choose between privacy and convenience. Other chains are either “privacy” or “convenience,” but Dusk is trying to give you both. When DuskEVM is truly deployed, that’s when financial contracts that want to go on-chain but are afraid of leaks finally have a place to write.

AI attack capabilities surge! Cybersecurity is at a turning point, and the time left for defenders is running out

OpenAI CEO Greg Brockman defined an incident in which his company’s internal large model successfully compromised Hugging Face as a watershed moment in the field of cybersecurity. The event also made OpenAI realize that they seriously underestimated the destructive attack power of cutting-edge AI models in real-world scenarios. Even more worrying is that open-weight open-source models’ attack capabilities have narrowed the gap with closed-source top-tier models to just a few months.

Brockman calls the current period a window for defenders. He warns enterprises that they must deploy AI-driven automated security defenses at scale within the coming months. Once AI attack capabilities spread widely, traditional patterns that rely on manual discovery and patching of vulnerabilities will be unable to keep up with the pace of attack iteration.

He offers practical guidance for enterprises: deploy AI intelligent agents to the security team so they can read code and infrastructure configurations, proactively scan and remediate vulnerabilities, clear accumulated historical risk, and embed security reviews into the entire software development lifecycle. After the agents identify risks, they can help generate remediation patches and complete testing. Then, step by step—from read-only scanning to more advanced stages like alert triage and limited automated responses—high-risk actions still retain human final decision-making authority.

OpenAI has already rolled out this approach internally: most initial security alerts are first handled by AI for classification, while the model continuously reasons through potential attack paths. At the same time, the team is conducting focused training on a specialized model capable of producing “ultra-high security level code,” with the goal of eliminating some software security vulnerabilities at the source.
