CRV’s annualized emissions for this tier have already dropped to below 100 million tokens. Using a 365-day basis, that’s about 97.16 million tokens. This is a token-contract–hardcoded reduction in the emission rate; it isn’t that the circulating supply has been withdrawn in that amount.
I just saw the Curve Epoch 6 chart dated August 13. On the chart, the annualized reduction is written as 15.9%. The metric is the per-second emission rate from the CRV contract on Ethereum—not the price, and not the quantity already burned. In the official description, the previous tier of roughly 115.5 million tokens was reduced to about 97.2 million tokens, with the timing starting from the update at 22:17 UTC on August 12, 2026. On-chain, it’s currently about 3.08 tokens per second; multiplying by 365 days gives ~97.16 million, matching the figure. It’s not the same rounding as the spoken statement that it’s below 100 million. The tier for August 2027 hasn’t happened yet.
