@Binance Vietnam
Today I am going deeper into Binance and how to stay safe when trading P2P - where being tempted by a slightly better price can make you overlook a suspicious sign.

The escrow mechanism makes sense to me. But what really made me pause was when the seller, midway through, asked me to transfer money to another account, with the reason that “the old account was temporarily locked”.

I did not follow through. I asked them to update it correctly on the system or cancel the order.

That pause made me check the seller’s trading history again.

An old order that had been canceled also showed the exact same reason.

Wait! The same reason, but I almost overlooked it just because the exchange rate was slightly better.

That is the gap that really made me think.

I am not saying Binance P2P is not strict enough here.
The escrow and protection mechanisms are still working as designed.
The question is whether users actually follow the process so that the mechanism can protect them.

This makes me think of locking the door to your house: the lock can be very good, but if you open the door yourself to a stranger, it does not mean much anymore.

Since then, I always confirm that the money has actually arrived in my banking app, ignore screenshots, keep all communication within Binance and save the Order ID + chat log.

Will familiar tactics like changing accounts, sending fake screenshots and luring people to outside chats continue to work?

Or are just a few small habits from the beginning enough to completely change the outcome?
