🚨 SELL 30 MILLION USDT, AN UNEXPECTED ACCOUNT RECEIVES 50 MILLION: “I TRANSFERRED BY MISTAKE, REFUND 20 MILLION BACK INTO THIS BANK ACCOUNT TO HELP!”

If you encounter this situation on P2P, will you transfer the money back immediately?

Me? NO.

Suppose the order value is only 30 million VND, but the bank account receives 50 million.

Right after that, the other party messages:

💬 “I transferred the extra 20 million.”
💬 “Please transfer it back to this other account.”

It sounds very reasonable, but this is exactly when I will stop the transaction and double-check carefully.

📌 What will I do?

✅ Match the received amount with the P2P order.
✅ Check the account that actually sent that payment.
✅ Don’t arbitrarily refund the difference to another account just based on a request in the chat.
✅ Keep all communication and processing within Binance P2P.
✅ If anything is abnormal, contact support or use Appeal following Binance’s instructions before handling anything further.

Especially, don’t think:

“Since the money is in my account, what is there to worry about?”

Safe P2P isn’t only about receiving money—it also means verifying the amount, the sender, and whether the transaction details match.

🔥 Receiving overpaid funds doesn’t mean you must rush to transfer the extra portion to some account sent via chat.

If there’s an issue → stop → keep evidence → handle it according to the proper process.

Don’t turn one P2P transaction into two bank transactions that you don’t fully understand.

Thanks @Binance Vietnam for the guidance that helps the community build safer P2P trading habits.
