The P2P interface today is vastly different from a few years ago. Back then, it was enough to just look at a good rate and close the deal. But now, the game has changed—brothers need to think like a “smart buyer.”

Many people only stare at the green number (best rate) and forget that the higher/lower the rate is in an unusual way, the greater the risk.

Before placing an order with any merchant, I always spend exactly 30 seconds checking their “capability profile” using 4 golden metrics:

✅ 1. Exchange rate: Compare it with the general market level. If their rate deviates too much compared to other merchants, put a question mark next to it: “Why are they willing to take losses or make big profits?” Don’t chase cheap!

✅ 2. Completion rate: Reputable merchants usually have a high completion rate (>95%). A low rate indicates they often get into disputes, have orders canceled, or “hold up” other people’s orders.

✅ 3. Number of transactions: A seasoned transaction history is proof of stability. A merchant with thousands of trades is always more trustworthy than a brand-new account.

✅ 4. Trading terms: Don’t just look at the rate and hit Buy. Read the conditions (T/C) carefully. If they request abnormal terms (face verification, sending documents via Zalo...), stop right away.

My advice:

A slightly better rate, but complicated conditions, slow handling, or unreasonable nitpicking—sometimes the price you pay is your own safety.

Don’t trade just because you see the “best price.” P2P is a direct transaction, and carefully checking your counterpart matters much more than the number on the screen.

Checking a merchant for 30 seconds beats spending 30 minutes dealing with the aftermath, brothers!
