币安首席执行官赵长鹏分享了备受期待的比特币减半事件倒计时的屏幕截图。根据倒计时,比特币第四次减半将于 2024 年 4 月的第一周发生。
The Bitcoin halving is an event that cuts block rewards in half, meaning miners will compete to create new blocks in the blockchain in exchange for an ever-dwindling supply of new Bitcoins.
This process is hardcoded into the Bitcoin blockchain and occurs approximately every four years. The screenshot shared by Zhao shows that the next halving is expected to occur 135 days from November 19, 2023.
The first Bitcoin halving occurred in 2012, when the block reward was reduced from 50 BTC to 25 BTC.
In 2016, Bitcoin had its second halving, with the reward further reduced to 12.5 BTC.
The third halving occurred in 2020, reducing miner rewards to 6.25 BTC.
Historically, Bitcoin halvings occur before significant price increases. The increasing scarcity of new Bitcoins after the halving causes a supply shock and ultimately puts upward pressure on prices.
For example, 18 months after Bitcoin’s third halving, Bitcoin’s ATH (all-time high) was approximately $66,000.
While the next Bitcoin halving will reduce miner rewards to 3.125 BTC, analysts predict that a bullish trend may follow the halving. Bitcoin’s current positive trend is largely driven by the widespread acceptance of the U.S. Bitcoin Spot ETF, which reinforces analysts’ bullish view. #BTC #etf #一起来跟单
