According to Whale Alert data, stablecoin issuer Tether issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Tron network 15 minutes ago. In the past 7 days, a total of 5 billion USDT has been minted on Tron and Ethereum.

Tether Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino added that this was an authorized but unissued transaction on the Tron network, which means that the additional issuance will be used for the next issuance request and on-chain interaction.
