Today's I'm telling you about Bubblemaps, an on-chain analysis platform that visualizes blockchain portfolios with colored bubbles. This is useful for those new to crypto, as it helps to understand, track, detect and compare projects.
I take the example of CryptoPunks, a collection of NFTs launched in 2017 on Ethereum. To see the Bubblemaps map, choose Ethereum and enter CryptoPunks. We see the bubbles linked to CryptoPunks, with information such as price, volume, etc.
The size of the bubbles is the number of CryptoPunks, the color is the address type. You can filter and click on the bubbles to see the details. We learn things about the project, such as:
- CryptoPunks contract still has 1,344 unclaimed CryptoPunks.
- The creator kept 1,000 CryptoPunks, some of which are very rare and expensive.
- There are 9,656 holders of CryptoPunks, but the 100 largest bubbles have more than 50% of the CryptoPunks.
- There is little activity on the exchanges, CryptoPunks are traded on OpenSea.
- There were key moments like the launch, the burn, the record sale, the CryptoPunks 3D project.
I hope you liked this post about Bubblemaps and CryptoPunks. To learn more, check out their website, their Medium article, or their YouTube channel. To try Bubblemaps, sign up for free and explore on-chain data. Thank you and see you soon !
