According to PANews, WisdomTree has received approval to list Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the London Stock Exchange. The announcement indicates that these ETPs will provide investors with the opportunity to access cryptocurrencies through the traditional stock market. WisdomTree's physical Bitcoin (BTCW) and Ethereum (ETHW) exchange-traded products are expected to be listed on the London Stock Exchange for professional investors on May 28. A fee of 35 basis points will be charged.

It is reported that the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) imposed a ban on crypto derivatives products, including ETPs, in January 2020. However, following the widespread use of such products in Europe for several years and the approval of spot ETFs in the United States, the regulatory body adjusted its stance. Nevertheless, it has retained the ban for retail investors.
