According to ChainCatcher, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) announced on May 15 that two Ontario residents were charged with crimes under the Criminal Code of Canada in a joint investigation of Project Swan. Among them, Aiden Pleterski, who calls himself the "cryptocurrency king", was charged with defrauding more than 5,000 Canadian dollars and laundering the proceeds of crime. Pleterski, 25, faced these charges and was released on bail on Tuesday, with his parents providing a $100,000 guarantee to ensure that he complies with the bail conditions. Another resident, Colin Murphy, was also charged with defrauding more than $5,000. Pleterski was detained for a bail hearing, while Murphy was promised to be released.
