According to Odaily, the decentralized derivatives trading platform dYdX has announced plans to officially launch its V4 software version, Release 5.0, in the coming weeks. The new version will introduce two major features: Isolated Markets and Isolated Margin.

The Isolated Markets feature will have independent collateral pools and insurance funds, enabling the protocol to support a wider range of markets with varying risk attributes. On the other hand, the Isolated Margin feature will allow users to manually adjust their collateral for specific positions, providing a more intuitive control and understanding of their collateral management.

These updates are expected to enhance the user experience and broaden the platform's capabilities, catering to a wider range of trading needs. The official launch date of the V4 software version, Release 5.0, has not been disclosed yet.
