According to TechFlow, DeFi Technologies has completed an agreement to acquire the core intellectual property (IP) of the Solana blockchain. The acquired intellectual property includes a complex set of functions, including advanced liquidity provision, innovative trading strategies and technologies, and the distribution, management and analysis of decentralized financial data. These elements are tailored to support the Solana-centric trading platform operated by DeFi Technologies and Valour Inc. DeFi Technologies will issue a total of 7,297,090 common shares of the company ("payment shares") to Stefan Jørgensen, with a deemed price of US$0.55 per payment share in exchange for all of its intellectual property. Stefan Jørgensen will also join the DeFi Technologies group. Valour, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DeFi Technologies and ETP issuer, has $168.8 million in Solana assets under management.
