According to the Daily Planet, community analyst Krippenreiter conducted an in-depth analysis of the upcoming rippled server software V2.0.0 update of XRP Ledger (XRPL). One of the core of the update is the introduction of a new API version, which is described as a "major breaking change". This API version represents a major shift in the XRPL operating framework, affecting the way requests and responses are handled.

Another key aspect is the improvement of TPS performance, which will significantly increase the stability and throughput of the consensus. A few weeks ago, Ripple updated its official website, saying that the ledger can handle 3,400 transactions per second, instead of the previous 1,500.

The update also introduces four new fixes, including XChainBridge, which aims to enhance the interoperability of XRPL assets across various ledgers; DID, fixDisallowIncomingV1, and fixFillOrKill.
