Unlike the GameFi token, the number of GameFi active users has stabilized. The surge in active users was triggered by the hype surrounding Axie Infinity since mid-2021, which was the start of GameFi’s bull run. And peaked on January 6, 2022, with more than 1.1 million daily active users.
After the peak, the number of active users surged in two rounds. The first round was brought about by the popularity of StepN that started in March and lasted for almost two months, reaching an average of 800,000 daily active users. The second round started in late September and ended in early November, with an average of 600,000 daily active users.
