💵 Tether has printed about 4 billion USDT in recent months
USDT capitalization is at a record high - almost $87 billion. 🚀
I believe that the increased emission of USDT is directly related to the growth of the market.
There are two versions of why such a large number of stable tokens were printed.
1️⃣ According to the first version, Tether prints candy wrappers (unsecured USDT) for the pump of Bitcoin and altcoins. The company was especially actively accused of this 5-6 years ago; today this is unlikely to happen, especially since the company is constantly accompanied by regular audits by regulatory authorities.
2️⃣ According to the second, more logical version, Tether prints USDT in response to a request from market makers. That is, real cash (US dollars) enters the crypt through USDT.
