Bitcoin (BTC) is on the rise, nearing $44,900 after the Wall Street open on Dec. 20. With Ether (ETH) hitting a local bottom, analysts predict further upside continuation for BTC, potentially reaching new 2023 highs above $46,000. The current local high stands at $44,729 on Bitstamp, and Bitcoin's market dominance is up 0.8% since the start of the week. As the decision on the United States' first Bitcoin spot price exchange-traded fund (ETF) approaches, investor Fred Krueger remains optimistic, stating that an ETF approval would be "the biggest news in Bitcoin since the White Paper." The final deadline for the decision is Jan. 10.
