BTC Dominance Rate Excludes Major Stablecoins

After excluding USDT and USDC, a more effective BTC dominance rate can be calculated.

In January 2017, the BTC dominance rate reached a high of 87.81%, and BTC began to bleed;

In January 2018, the BTC dominance rate reached a low of 32.69%, and BTC began to suck blood;

In January 2021, the BTC dominance rate reached a high of 74.3%, and BTC began to bleed again;

In January 2022, the BTC dominance rate reached a low of 41.62%, and BTC gradually began to suck blood.

The current BTC dominance rate is 57.8%.

87.81%→32.69%→74.3%;

74.3%→41.62%→? ? %

The overall dominance rate of BTC shows a convergence trend. Of course, it is not necessary to strictly follow this trend line to develop. Once the BTC spot ETF passes, the BTC dominance rate is likely to break through the trend line upwards.

Judging from the current trend, the BTC dominance rate should have room to rise. A big bull market may still require certain twists and turns.

Another revelation is that BTC sucks blood for 3 years and bleeds for 1 year. What's more, the copycats will be replaced every cycle, so most of the time it may be better to take BTC.
