In a statement posted on social media in recent days, the team behind Hamster Kombat confirmed that it had banned more than 2 million users who were seeking to win the airdrop.

Everyone was looking to win the HMSTR token, associated with Hamster Kombat, but they broke the rules of the competition.

According to those responsible for conducting the process, people should remain honest. Therefore, anyone who was caught breaking the rules lost everything they had worked hard to earn fraudulently.

What did the Hamster Kombat team say that banned 2.3 million users who tried to airdrop HMSTR?

Claiming to be protecting the Hamster Kombat ecosystem, the team found traces of scams among users seeking the airdrop. One case, for example, involved a trader who connected more than 400 accounts to a single Binance address, a case identified by the team.

“🛡PROTECTING THE HAMSTER🛡 We’ve banned over 2.3 million cheaters — enough to fill the entire city of Rome! Wondering how we caught them? Well, here’s an example: one person connected over 400 accounts to a single Binance address, while another invited nearly 2,000 “friends,” all of whom were flagged by our anti-cheat system.”

According to the note available on the game's official social media, the team had been monitoring suspicious activity for months. In other words, anyone who acted in bad faith against the ecosystem will ultimately not receive their dream rewards.

However, the news is good for users who followed the rules, as 50% of the confiscated HMSTR tokens will now belong to the community. The rest, the team stated, will have to be burned and consequently removed from the market forever, a fact that also helps those who hold the token.

“We have been analyzing user behavior for months leading up to the TGE. We saw accounts that logged in at the same time every day and tapped the exact same pixel. We took 6.8 billion tokens from these cheaters. 50% were distributed to honest players, the other 50% will be burned. Cheaters do not belong in our community. They automate their sales through software to gain an advantage over regular players. We care about our stakeholders and market participants, especially long-term holders, and we want to protect them.”

Hamster Kombat Token Price on Binance
