Blockchain News Flash: Polygon co-founder Jaynti Kanani announced that she is quitting day-to-day work on the project to prepare for a new adventure. 😮
According to Twitter on October 4, Kanani stated that he will contribute to Polygon from the sidelines. In 2017, Kanani co-founded Matic Network, later renamed Polygon, with software engineers such as Sandeep Nailwal, Anurag Arjun and Mihailo Bjelic. Nailwal said in response that this is just the beginning of Polygon and hopes to do more things together on this crazy journey. 👏
It’s worth mentioning that Polygon’s website lists 10 co-founders, some of whom are still involved in various side projects on the platform. Arjun left Polygon in March to join the blockchain data availability protocol Avail. 🚀
Additionally, since announcing the plan in June, Polygon Labs has begun accepting suggestions for improvements aimed at transitioning the network to Polygon 2.0. The new ecosystem will use zero-knowledge proofs and consist of four protocol layers focused on staking, interoperability, execution and proof. Currently, developers are working hard to bring Polygon 2.0 to life. 🌟
Let’s look forward to Polygon’s future development! 💪
