Why August Is Bearish (And What You Should Do)?

Historically, August has rarely been a good month for Bitcoin and crypto. Why? Because this is typically the most boring month of the year for markets.

Many people are on vacation, while others enjoy the summer and think of everything but crypto.

As a result, August is often called the apathy month.

Let me explain and start with a couple of numbers:

During the first two weeks in August, the crypto views on YouTube were down almost 30%, Coinbase fell from rank 159 to 502 in the app ranking, and the trading volume was down more than 20%.

The space feels dead, many tokens move sideways, and many people start talking about the 4th quarter or 2025.

So what happens next, usually? After apathy comes capitulation/resignation.

Investors become impatient and sell their bags. Traders lose more money while trading with higher risks due to limited opportunities.

That all leads to a gradual bleeding of the market.

However, if you've been there, you know that this time can be a blessing:

- Use it to refine strategies and trading approaches

- Research your tokens and protocols

- Try new things

- Accumulate for the long run

- AND, most importantly, be patient!
