🛑🛑🛑 SCAMMERS ALERT ⛔⛔⛔
🚨 🚨 Recently, scammers have become increasingly sophisticated. It's essential to be vigilant when transferring USDT. A friend of mine fell victim to a scam recently, and here's how it happened:
Initially, the scammer transferred 2.9 genuine USDT to my friend's wallet. Upon seeing the increased balance and the transaction record, my friend believed it was legitimate. Following this, the scammer transferred 3,000 fake USDT. These counterfeit tokens were TRC20 standard and appeared identical to the real ones, but a closer inspection revealed a different contract code. Unfortunately, my friend didn’t notice this detail and was deceived.
In summary, scammers are using a "first genuine, then fake" strategy to mislead people. If users don't scrutinize the details carefully, they can easily be tricked. The contract address for genuine USDT on the TRON chain is unique, and any other contract address for USDT is fraudulent. Therefore, always double-check the contract address during on-chain transactions and transfers to avoid being scammed.
Stay alert and ensure you are dealing with the correct contract address to protect your assets.
