After Shibarium, When Will Shiba Inu's Shibaswap Launch?
After Shibarium, the Shiba Inu memecoin community has been abuzz with anticipation for the launch of Shibaswap, a decentralized exchange (DEX) that has attracted a lot of attention recently.
This comes amidst growing excitement around the upcoming release of the Shibarium layer-2 network, and the team behind the SHIB network has dropped hints about the potential impact of Shibaswap. Shytoshi Kusama, the project's lead developer, recently shed more light on the details of this highly anticipated launch.
After Shibarium, When Will Shibaswap Launch?
According to a Watcher News report, Kusama used Telegram to reveal significant progress in finalizing key elements, with Wrapped Bone [WBONE] taking center stage.
This innovative token has played an important role in ensuring seamless compatibility between BONE and various smart contracts, as well as decentralized applications operating within the Shibarium network.
However, Kusama's insights into the launch of Shibaswap are not all positive. The developer revealed that the launch of Shibaswap will be delayed to prioritize the growth of other projects in the Shibarium ecosystem.
As depicted in the official image, Kusama explained that community members should not anticipate the arrival of Shibaswap hastily.
He encouraged them to give the tokens and other projects that are part of the Shibarium landscape the space and attention they deserve. Kusama also revealed that based on recent developments related to Shibarium, the network will soon undergo a process known as contemplating contracts.
This process involves transferring control from smart contracts to decentralized entities or multi-signature wallets (multisig), a move aimed at improving the overall security of the network.
