According to TechFlow, South Korean gaming company Wemade plans to sell shares in its subsidiary Lightscale and resign as a major shareholder.
Lightscale is a South Korean blockchain project developer that launched the Chroma blockchain mainnet last year. The sale was interpreted as part of Wemade's scaling back of its blockchain business. Despite the shareholder change, Lightscale still plans to issue the Coin Cro virtual asset in the third quarter. Wemade officials said "we cannot confirm" the sale plan.
