The identity of the creator of PEPE has been revealed online
The founder of Not Larva Labs, nicknamed Pauly, said that the founder of the PEPE memcoin is Zachary Testa from Phoenix, Arizona. Testa, born in 1997, works as a landscape photographer.
In 2018, he received a degree in marketing from Arizona State University. Pauly also mentioned that he met the PEPE project team by helping them connect with Binance and SushiSwap.
Testa’s identity was revealed as the project’s developers transferred more than 4% of the total memcoin supply to exchanges. Pauly also emphasized that while they earned significant amounts of money from the project, they did not in any way thank the original creator of the Pepe meme.
In light of all these events, Pauly announced its intention to file a complaint with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
