The French bank Societe Generale released the stablecoin EUR Coinvertible (EURCV), which began trading on the European cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp. Developed by the crypto division of SG Forge, the stablecoin is designed for institutional clients and is a bridge between traditional capital markets and digital assets.

- AXA IM, the asset manager for insurance giant AXA, used EURCV to purchase €5 million worth of tokenized green bonds.

- The listing on Bitstamp expands the stablecoin's access to retail traders and marks the first time that a Euro stablecoin issued by a fully regulated bank is available on a cryptocurrency exchange.

- French crypto-financial company Flowdesk announced its appointment as market maker for Societe Generale's stablecoin.
