The site making these claims also boasted licenses in four countries. Someone claiming to represent Trust Wallet’s security team replied on X that the site had no affiliation with them.

Bottom line: if a card is more generous than any bank and asks for just $1, you’re not paying a dollar.

Simply connecting your wallet doesn’t give a site permission to transfer your funds. The trouble starts when you sign whatever it serves up next. Genuine products are available only in the official app and on the official website.

There are no confirmed losses, and so far there’s only one source: crypto.news. I’d just leave a site like that.

Recently, searching Google for “Trust Wallet Card” brings up several clone sites advertising exactly that package. Trust Wallet has officially said they’ve never issued a card like this. In cases rounded up on X, someone had 915 USDT drained on the BNB Chain—and emphasized that they never shared their seed phrase at any point.

That’s the key. Phishing scams don’t even need your seed phrase anymore—that’s so old-school. They want you to sign something after you “connect your wallet.” Once you grant approval, they can move the tokens in your wallet however they like. That $1 card fee isn’t a real cost; it’s bait to get you to sign.

Here’s another pretty funny detail: today’s X post warning about “two suspicious websites” got over 7,500 views and 108 replies, but only 95 likes. The replies are full of “good looking out” and “too good to be true.” People are even farming engagement under anti-scam posts. This crowd really doesn’t waste a single bit of traffic.

If you really want a crypto card, find the link in the official app—don’t click through from search results. If you’ve clicked around on suspicious sites lately, revoke your approvals first. That’s the most practical thing you can do.
