Learning crypto from scratch — Day 2 📚

Yesterday I learned what $BTC is. Today I wanted to understand something that has always caught my attention: why does its price go up and down so much?

The first thing I learned is that Bitcoin’s price depends mainly on supply and demand. If more people want to buy than sell, the price tends to rise. If the opposite happens, it goes down.

But that demand can change very quickly. News, decisions by governments and regulators, the economic situation, what big investors do, and even the fear or excitement of people who participate in the market all play a role.

That’s why $BTC can have much stronger moves than traditional coins.

What’s clear to me today is that a rise doesn’t necessarily mean it will keep going up, and a drop doesn’t necessarily mean it will keep falling.

Tomorrow I want to understand better what exactly blockchain is and why Bitcoin can work without a central bank.

💭 What if the problem isn’t Binance, but not knowing how to use it?

When we start out in the crypto world, it’s normal to feel confused among all the options: Spot, Futures, Earn, Alpha, orders, charts, Web3 networks… 😵‍💫

I entered crypto with many doubts and little capital, looking for the same thing as many: to learn to grow without doing crazy things.

Today I decided to start in a more organized way, using a simple bot on ADA/USDT within Spot, not to do magic, but to better understand how to implement a strategy with discipline and risk control.

I am just starting, but I already understood something: in crypto, it's not just about winning; it's also important not to lose due to impulse.

Today I checked my progress on Binance, and while I'm still getting started, I can definitely say there has been progress.

My account is estimated at $545.16 MXN, and today’s PnL is in the green with +$1.21 MXN (+0.22%). It’s not a huge gain, but for someone who’s just learning, seeing the account start moving in a more orderly fashion is already part of the process.

I also realized something important: most of my capital is allocated in trading bots and Earn, not just in impulsive buys. That helps me have more control and understand better how each tool works.

My conclusion for now is simple:
there is progress, even if it’s small.

It’s not about getting rich in a day. It’s about learning, testing strategies, managing emotions, and not losing due to impulse.

I’m taking it step by step, but every day I understand better how this world works.

The truth is I'm just learning about crypto, and today I got 24 CHIP.

I'm still not an expert or anything, but I wanted to share what I think so far. For now, I think I will hold them, but only in a small amount to see how the coin moves and continue learning.

What catches my attention about CHIP is that it's a new coin and I feel it has the potential to grow if more people start to take an interest in it. But I also understand that being new, it can rise and fall very quickly, and that is also a bit scary when you are just starting.

I see it this way:

The good:

- It can have potential if the project grows
- Being new, it can attract a lot of attention
- It serves to learn how a coin moves with more risk

The bad:

- It can be very volatile
- It can drop sharply just as it can rise
- If someone buys out of emotion, they can end up losing

In my case, I don't see these 24 CHIP as a big investment, but more as a way to learn, observe, and better understand this world without diving in too deep.

For now, my idea is simple:
hold them, learn, and not get too excited.
