BTC Drifts, ETH Lags, Small Coins Spike and Fade: My Week in NumbersBitcoin finished the week 2.1% lower and Ethereum 6.9% lower, yet the biggest moves were all in small coins. Several of them doubled, and a few of those gave back a large share within a day. Here is what the numbers show as the week closes, and what I got right and wrong. BTC $BTC is at 83,009, down 2.1% over seven days. The weekly range was 80,393 to 86,999, and price sits 4.6% under the top of it. Hourly RSI is 55.8, which is neutral. The number I notice most is volume. The last 24 hours traded about 611 million dollars, only 0.45 times the weekly average. Bitcoin is not leading anything right now. It is drifting in the middle of its range while traders spend their attention on altcoins. ETH $ETH did worse than Bitcoin at minus 6.9% on the week, now 2,508. The range was 2,406 to 2,739, so it is 8.4% under the high and about 4% above the low. RSI is 56.1 and volume is at 0.43 times its weekly average, almost the same quiet picture as BTC. When ETH falls more than BTC on low volume, I read it as a lack of buyers rather than heavy selling. That can turn quickly in either direction once volume comes back. The movers This was a week of fast spikes. MAGIC is the clearest example. I wrote about it at 0.1191 after it nearly doubled, then at 0.1551 when it was still climbing with RSI near 88. It is 0.0937 now, down 24% in the last day and about 40% under my second post. I was wrong to drop the give-back warning from my first post, and right to raise it again in the second, but the drop came faster than I expected. RLC tells a similar story at a slower pace. It is 0.9496, between the two levels I gave, 0.90 below and 1.085 above. $STRK is now the coin everyone is watching. It is up 40.6% in a day to 0.1042 on 77.9 million dollars of volume, more than any coin except BTC, ETH and NEAR. Three hours ago I said I would not chase it with RSI above 80, and price has barely moved since. TIA (+26.2%) and CFX (+21.6%) are also on the gainers list. Sentiment Fear & Greed is 61, down from 64 yesterday, still in Greed. That fits the week: majors are flat to lower, and the optimism sits in a handful of small coins rather than the whole market. Funding data was not available in my feed this week, so I am not drawing anything from it. What I am watching next week For BTC, 80,393 below and 86,999 above. A daily close outside either side ends the range, and I would want to see volume back above its weekly average for the move to count. For ETH, 2,406 and 2,739. A break of the low would make this a third red week in my notes, so that is the level I care about most. For STRK, 0.1054 is the weekly high. A clean move above it with volume holding would prove my caution wrong. Under 0.09, I expect it to cool like MAGIC did. For MAGIC, it needs to get back above 0.1191 before I take it seriously again. #WeeklyRecap #Starknet

#WeeklyRecap #Starknet
It is 12:46 AM IST here in India, and while the quiet overnight screens have $BNB holding steady around the 739.99 level, the wider market data reveals a remarkably turbulent week that caught plenty of leveraged traders off guard. Taking a step back to review the broader tape, Bitcoin closed the week near 80,986, marking a 3.7% decline over seven days, while Ethereum slid 9.3% down to 2,432. Despite the overarching chop, certain altcoins carved out massive independent rallies for the week ending October 5th. Midnight led the charge with an explosive 77% gain, followed by Starknet adding 45%, Pump.fun jumping 32%, LayerZero climbing 30%, and Stacks rising 22% on strong demand for privacy, zero-knowledge scaling, and Bitcoin layer infrastructure. The derivatives sector absorbed the brunt of the volatility. Total crypto liquidations hit a staggering 1.12 billion over a single 24-hour window, with long positions accounting for 1.04 billion of that wipeout against just 83.73 million in shorts. Institutional flows mirrored this defensive shift as US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a massive 487 million net outflow on October 7th alone, completely erasing the month's previous gains and pushing cumulative flows down by 163.3 million. Meanwhile, traditional safe havens remained anchored, with Gold closing near 4140.84 and Silver at 60.37. For BNB, the circulating float hovers near 130 million tokens as the market prepares for the 37th quarterly Auto-Burn targeting that long-term 100 million supply goal. It is a vital structural rhythm to keep on the radar as we reset for the week ahead. What is your primary focus as we head into the new weekly candle? #WeeklyRecap #CryptoMarket

The Macro Engine: Why Dogecoin and Global Assets Are Realigning for the Monday Open Watching the weekly close settle in provides a necessary filter for the noise that usually clutters our feeds during the mid-week volatility. As of Sunday night, Bitcoin is wrapping up a historic week with a gain of roughly 9.2 percent, while Ethereum has finally shown some backbone, climbing nearly 11.5 percent compared to last Sunday. This shift in capital is being mirrored in the traditional sector too, with Gold closing around 2,712 per ounce, marking one of its strongest weekly rebounds in months as a hedge against global uncertainty. The liquidation heatmap tells the real story of the last seven days. We saw over 1.3 billion in total liquidations across the market, with short sellers bearing the brunt of the pain as the $BTC push toward the major milestones triggered massive cascading buy-backs. Spot ETF net flows remained the primary engine for this move, absorbing nearly 2.4 billion in net capital this week alone. This level of institutional absorption is fundamentally changing how we view weekend retracements and liquidity gaps. When we look at DOGE, the narrative is evolving from a pure meme play into a significant macro sentiment gauge. With a circulating supply sitting at approximately 147 billion and its fixed annual issuance of 5 billion coins, the inflation rate continues to soften as a percentage of the total float. Despite the volatility, DOGE has held its structural ground this week while other high-cap assets like XLM and ADA saw explosive narrative-driven moves. Whale flows have remained surprisingly steady, with on-chain data showing a net decrease in exchange balances, suggesting a move toward cold storage rather than immediate distribution. As we prep for the Monday bell, the main focus is whether the ETF momentum can sustain this verticality or if we see a healthy reset. Institutional Exhaustion and the 19 Billion Flush: A Weekly Reality CheckInstitutional Exhaustion and the 19 Billion Flush: A Weekly Reality Check The dust is settling on what I can only describe as a brutal week of deleveraging. While most retail traders are obsessing over Sunday wicks, the real story is written in the 19 billion liquidation event that tore through the market on October 10. This was not just a minor correction; it was a systemic flush of over-leveraged long positions that effectively reset the playing field before the Monday open. $BTC closed the week struggling to hold 83,000 after being rejected from the 87,250 zone earlier. The volatility was even more pronounced in ETH, which slipped from 2,700 down to a low of 2,405 before limping back toward the 2,500 mark. This price action aligns perfectly with the institutional data. For the first time in three weeks, we saw a massive reversal in sentiment with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recording 681.10 million in net outflows. When you add the Ethereum outflows, we are looking at over 1.29 billion exiting the crypto ETF space in just five days. Amidst this carnage, RENDER continues to show why supply dynamics matter more than hype, even as price action hovers near the 1.894 spot reference. With roughly 80.5 percent of its 644,245,094 total supply already circulating, the upcoming unlock on October 22, 2026, is a drop in the bucket at just 492,132 tokens. This tiny 0.1 percent community allocation means we are not facing a massive supply overhang in the near term. While specific altcoins like Raydium posted 30 percent gains, the broader breadth suggests a rotation into risk-on assets is stalling under the weight of these liquidations. Traditional markets offered little relief as gold and silver remained relatively flat on the MCX. Higher interest rates continue to act as a headwind for non-yielding assets, keeping precious metals in a holding pattern. The question now is whether the institutional exodus was a one-off profit-taking event or a sign of a deeper sentiment reversal heading into next week. Are you stepping back to re-evaluate your exposure, or do you see this flush as a healthy reset? _ #WeeklyRecap #CryptoMarket

The Sunday Macro Reset: Chainlink Whale Outflows and Institutional Positioning Before the Bell The screens are quiet this Sunday morning, but the underlying data tells a story of aggressive repositioning across major desks. As we head toward the Monday open, the broader crypto footprint resembles a coiled spring. $BTC held its ground with a modest 2 percent weekly gain while ETH trailed slightly behind, reflecting a healthy structural rotation back into primary assets as traders seek shelter from short-term noise. The real signal this week is flashing inside the Chainlink ecosystem. Trading near 12.931, LINK is experiencing a distinct shift in whale behavior. On-chain telemetry tracks a steady, deliberate migration of tokens into cold storage, confirming that long-term balance sheets are capitalizing on localized volatility. With a circulating supply floating around 626 million tokens, token unlock events remain a key monitoring metric, yet net exchange inflows remain remarkably muted. That telltale divergence points to aggressive institutional absorption for real-world infrastructure rather than speculative retail flipping. Across the broader macro landscape, total weekly crypto liquidations punished aggressive shorts, wiping out late-week momentum chasers. Spot ETF net flows stayed firmly positive, serving as a structural bid underneath price action. Meanwhile, traditional safe havens settled with Gold closing near 2715 and Silver hovering around 32.50. The gap between physical bullion metrics and high-beta digital assets is tightening, a phenomenon that historically precedes significant volatility expansion in tech-heavy sectors. Top altcoin gainers this week were anchored by narrative-specific catalysts rather than pure meme sentiment, signaling a maturing market where fundamental utility takes center stage. The Quiet Capital Rotation: What Sunday Float and Liquidations Signal for Monday While Sunday markets sit in a deceptive lull, the underlying market structure tells a story of heavy consolidation before the coming week. Looking at $BNB holding firm around 748.59, we are seeing notable resilience compared to the broader altcoin landscape as smart money prepares for the Monday open. Looking back at the weekly performance, BTC finished up roughly 3 percent, maintaining its role as the market safe harbor. Meanwhile, ETH struggled to find momentum, logging a slight retreat beneath its key moving averages. The leverage deck got a thorough flushing this week, with over 450 million in long positions wiped out across major exchanges, clearing the speculative buildup necessary for a cleaner structural move. Despite the flush, institutional spot ETF flows remained net positive for the week, confirming that funds continue to absorb dips. In contrast, Gold and Silver both closed slightly lower under pressure from dollar strength, pushing capital back toward select risk assets. Speculative momentum shifted heavily into AI and base-chain leaders, with tokens like FET and TAO outperforming the market by nearly 15 percent. What sets BNB apart heading into next week is its circulating supply stability and complete lack of immediate major token unlocks to pressure price. The utility within the exchange ecosystem is driving a quiet flight to quality while macro volatility brews beneath the surface. With key inflation data hitting the wire next week, the market is pricing in a hawkish tone that typically triggers a liquidity hunt before the print. The Institutional Flush: Analyzing the Weekly Tape and $BNB Structural Resilience We just closed one of the most sobering weeks for risk assets in recent memory. While the weekend usually offers a breather, the tape from the last five days tells a story of aggressive institutional deleveraging that we cannot ignore before the Monday morning bell. We saw a massive shift in sentiment as the initial post-election euphoria met the cold reality of profit-taking and macro repositioning. BTC struggled to hold its ground, slipping roughly 4 percent into the 80,700 to 82,500 range, but the real pain was felt in ETH, which shed over 9 percent of its value. This weakness triggered a massive liquidation cascade where over 2.4 billion in positions were wiped out. When you see over 90 percent of those liquidations coming from long positions, it is a clear sign of over-leveraged retail getting caught in an institutional exit. The ETF data backs this up. We saw a combined outflow of over 1 billion from spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds this week. That is a significant reversal from the previous trend. Even traditional safe havens like Gold and Silver felt the heat, ending the week lower despite a small Friday bounce. Gold settled near 4,194.50 while Silver sat around 60.70. In the middle of this storm, BNB showed remarkable structural strength. While others were free-falling, price stayed resilient around the 785.6 mark. The circulating supply remains tight at approximately 133,159,014.54 as the auto-burn mechanism continues its steady path toward the 100 million target. The 750.7 spot reference point has become a major psychological anchor for those watching the supply-side dynamics. As we prepare for the new week, I am watching if the altcoin strength we saw in pockets like Raydium and LayerZero can broaden out or if the ETF outflows indicate a longer period of consolidation. Macro De-Risking Hits Risk Assets: Decoding the Weekly Crypto Outflows and RENDER Mechanics The trading week closed under noticeable pressure as a sharp uptick in macro friction forced institutional capital into cash. Rising US Treasury yields crossing 5.3 percent alongside crude oil surging past 101 dollars built a tough liquidity environment for high-beta markets. Bitcoin pulled back roughly 3.5 percent toward the 82,500 level, while Ethereum took a heavier hit, dropping 8.5 percent below 2,500. Precious metals offered little refuge, with Gold sliding between 4,108 and 4,184 dollars and Silver hovering around 59 to 60 dollars. Derivatives took the brunt of the volatility. Over 2.4 billion dollars in leverage was wiped out across the board, with long positions accounting for up to 93 percent of the total liquidation cascade. Spot ETFs reflected this sudden pivot toward risk reduction, with spot Bitcoin funds shedding 678.9 million dollars in net outflows and spot Ethereum funds losing 542.2 million dollars over the same period. Even with broad weakness, select narratives managed to decouple. Lisk staged an explosive move above 259 percent, while Arbitrum, GEODNET, NEAR Protocol, and Zcash each logged gains exceeding 40 percent. Looking specifically at $RENDER, the token traded around the 1.915 reference level amid the wider market drawdown. Value retention for the network is anchored in its Burn-and-Mint Equilibrium model, which systematically ties supply reduction directly to real-world GPU compute consumption. With a circulating float of approximately 518.78 million tokens—representing roughly 80.52 percent of the total supply—the network continues to absorb structural token releases relatively well compared to high-FDV peers. As we head into Monday's market open, keeping a close eye on Treasury yield direction and institutional ETF flow stability will be critical for assessing whether altcoin liquidity can stabilize. Decoupling From the Macro Noise: Why SOL On-Chain Strength Defies the Weekly Liquidation Flush The Friday close left the market in a precarious spot, and if you are staring at the charts today, you are likely feeling the weight of a massive liquidation week. It was a brutal stretch where over 2.4 billion in leveraged positions were wiped out, with long traders bearing roughly 93 percent of that pain as the risk-on trade hit a wall. Bitcoin shed about 2.8 percent this week, sliding toward 82500, while Ethereum continued its streak of institutional exits with 72.5 million flowing out of ETFs on Wednesday alone. Even the safe havens felt the pinch, with Gold closing down 2 percent and Silver dropping nearly 4 percent as bond yields climbed and expensive oil impacted global liquidity. This deleveraging event was not just noise; it was a broad macro flush. Despite the carnage, specific narratives found oxygen. Raydium led the charge with a 30.9 percent weekly gain, followed by LayerZero at 19.0 percent, Midnight at 15.8 percent, and Pyth Network at 13.6 percent. This shows that decentralized infrastructure and the Solana ecosystem still hold the attention of active capital even when the majors are bleeding. Looking at $SOL specifically, the data shows a fascinating tug-of-war. While the price is hovering near 110.01 after an 8.1 percent weekly dip, the on-chain metrics are actually strengthening. Network usage just hit a 13-month peak and whales scooped up 23 million earlier in the week. With a circulating float of 588 million and inflation tapering toward 1.5 percent, the long-term structural health is decoupling from the short-term ETF outflows of 22 million we saw this week. We are heading into a Monday open where macro sentiment and bond yields will likely dictate the next major leg. Are you holding through this volatility or waiting for a clearer signal from the Treasury markets before adding more SOL to your stack? #WeeklyRecap #CryptoMarket

Sunday Macro Blueprint: Why Gold Highs and NEAR Chain Abstraction Are Setting Up the Monday Open The Sunday order book tells a clear story today. Traditional markets closed out the week with gold sitting near all-time highs and silver holding its steady upward trajectory, signaling that global macro liquidity remains deeply hyper-sensitive to inflation risk. Meanwhile, crypto markets spent the last seven days in a tight squeeze. Both $BTC and ETH wrapped up the week essentially flat with under 2 percent variance, masking a brutal 600 million dollar liquidation wipeout that punished over-leveraged traders on both sides. Institutional capital through Spot ETFs showed cautious net inflows, choosing to absorb weekend float rather than chase breakout rallies. But under the hood of this consolidation, money is quietly rotating. Capital is abandoning pure speculative assets and funneling directly into decentralized compute, modular scaling, and AI data infrastructure. That brings us to NEAR, which has turned into a major liquidity sink this week. Currently anchored around 5.124, NEAR is digesting its recent move with roughly 1.2 billion tokens in circulating float. On-chain telemetry shows whale wallets actively accumulating during these sideways sessions, driven by surging usage in chain abstraction protocols rather than short-term momentum. As tokenomics pivot toward genuine network utilization and ecosystem demand, the float is building a structural base before the Monday session opens. The gap between hard macro yields and crypto risk appetite is tightening fast. Are you keeping your capital defense tight for Monday, or are you accumulating NEAR infrastructure dips while the macro market sleeps? #WeeklyRecap #CryptoMarket

The Sunday Ledger: Parsing Through Macro Weight and the Ether Lag The weekend screens are currently showing a market that is trying to digest a very noisy week of macroeconomic signals. With $ETH sitting around 2488.18, the narrative is shifting from pure speculation to a cold analysis of flows and institutional appetite. Over the last seven days, Ethereum has faced a bit of a reality check, closing down nearly 4 percent while BTC managed to hold much closer to its weekly open. The divergence in the ETH/BTC pair is becoming the primary topic of conversation among those of us watching the order books. Looking at the institutional side, the Spot Ether ETFs are still struggling to find their footing. We saw net outflows for the week, largely driven by the continued exit from the Grayscale Trust, which overshadowed the modest inflows into newer products. On-chain, the situation is equally complex. With lower gas fees on Layer 1, the burn rate has slowed down, causing the circulating supply of ETH to stay slightly inflationary over this period. This is a far cry from the ultra-sound money narrative we saw a year ago. In the broader market, we witnessed about 180 million in total liquidations over the last few days, with the majority being over-leveraged longs caught in the midweek volatility. While the major assets stayed relatively range-bound, specific altcoins like SUI and AERO bucked the trend with double-digit gains, signaling that capital is becoming much more selective. Meanwhile, traditional safe havens like Gold and Silver finished the week exceptionally strong, with Gold hovering near all-time highs as investors hedge against potential fiscal instability. As we wait for the Monday open, the question is whether the digital liquidity follows the path of hard assets or continues to bleed into the high-performance altcoin sector. How are you positioning your expectations for the ETH/BTC pair as we head into October? #WeeklyRecap #CryptoMarket
