📊 The figure shifting the landscape
The regional board of the Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber (CPV) in Zulia put a figure on the table: 400,000 barrels per day by the end of 2026. Roy Biagioni, president of the trade group’s Zulia chapter, explained that the projection didn’t come out of nowhere, but matches the figures used by PDVSA’s Western Production Executive Directorate. For the PitbullChain team, the news matters less because of the number itself and more because of what it brings with it: contracts, payroll, tenders and, sooner or later, foreign currency circulating in the real economy.
