How can I earn USDe rewards? Where does the yield come from?

By holding

at least 0.01 USDe

on the Binance platform for at least 24 hours, you will start earning daily rewards.

The yield is funded by a promotional program between Binance and Ethena, the issuer of USDe. The APR (Annual Percentage Rate) is set at Binance’s discretion and may vary, taking into account market conditions and product sustainability.

Is there a daily limit on the USDe rewards each user can potentially receive?

No, there is no daily limit.

How can I get USDe?

You can purchase USDe directly in Binance Spot Market.

If you already hold USDe outside of the Binance platform, you can deposit it into Binance to start earning rewards.

How are rewards calculated and distributed?

Rewards start accruing daily the day after you have held a minimum of 0.01 USDe on Binance and are distributed weekly by 10:00 AM every Monday in USDe. Rewards distributed are rounded down to 8 decimal places. Rewards of sub-accounts will be distributed to the Spot Account of corresponding sub-accounts every Monday.

Your rewards are calculated daily based on the below formula:
Daily Rewards = Minimum snapshot of the USDe balance of the day* × APR / 365

*The minimum snapshot of your eligible USDe balance includes Spot, Funding, and Margin accounts across both master and sub-accounts. The snapshot time is randomly taken between 00:00 and 23:59 (UTC) each day. You can refer to the Rewards History to see the historical holding snapshot.

For example, you hold 100 USDe in your Binance Spot account from Monday to Thursday. You subsequently sold 50 USDe on Friday and kept the remaining 50 USDe until the Monday of the following week.

In this example, the daily rewards from Monday to Thursday will be calculated based on a USDe balance of 100. As you sold 50 USDe on Friday, daily rewards from Friday to Sunday will be calculated based on a USDe balance of 50. The total rewards accrued from Monday to Sunday will be distributed before 10:00 AM next Monday.
