Eurovision-2022 Winner Kalush Orchestra and 11 Ukrainian TOP singers launched NFT charity sale on Binance NFT
Atlas, one of the largest music festivals in Ukraine, gathered top Ukrainian musicians to support Binance NFT project "Hero Cities". Eurovision-2022 winner Kalush Orchestra along with THE HARDKISS, Monatik, ONUKA and others, will support this charity initiative in order to help draw public attention to the damage caused by the war.Ā
The collection of illustrations is made by leading Ukrainian artists and dedicated to 12 Ukrainian hero cities.
The collection is built on the principle of functional NFT. Everyone who buys an NFT will also receive an exclusive set of autographed merch from their idol. The collection will be limited and the NFTs of each city will be available only in 5 copies.
About the artworks
The illustrations made for this project were created by leading artists in Ukraine. The collection of illustrations was created by: Garkavets Iryna, Khmura Volodymyr, Ryabova Svitlana, Yulia Yevtukh, Mysyk Kateryna, Goryashchenko Kateryna, Romashchenko Kateryna, Korobova Daria, Anastasia Melnikova, Litovchenko Sofia.
The 12 cities pictured on the NFTs are Mariupol, Kyiv, Bucha, Hostomel, Irpin, Izium, Kherson, Volnovakha, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Okhtyrka. Each NFT is an exclusive work and reflects the author's vision of the unjust destruction that the war inflicts on these heroic Ukrainian cities. However, the constant motive that unites all 12 plots is the hope for Ukraineās victory and the return of a carefree happy life in each of these cities.

"Now it is more important than ever to support Ukraine in any way possible. That is why my team and I are creating projects that are aimed at supporting Ukrainians. In peacetime, Atlas Festival brought together different types of Ukrainian and world culture, and this project, teamed with Binance, brought together modern NFT technologies, popular Ukrainian artists, and folk motifs present in the illustrations. This collaboration once again proves how talented and multifaceted our nation is.Ā The creation of the project "Hero Cities" is a combination of music, art, new technologies and the struggle for freedom of our country. We are grateful to our artists for not being silent and for taking on the responsibility of becoming ambassadors of the cities that have suffered the most from Russian aggression. We believe that very soon we will be able to hold concerts under the peaceful sky in each of these cities,ā said the festival's founder Dmytro Sydorenko.
The auction starts on May 31, 12:00 (UTC+3) and will last for 7 days.
All the profit from the sale of the collection will be donated to the Music Saves UA charity initiative to help affected families in the respective cities. All registered Binance users can support the initiative.
