The Drift hacker turned the stolen funds into 130,262 ETH in April, at about $2,050 each. At $2,440 now, those same coins are worth about $318M, roughly $50M more than when they were bought.
Today the wallets moved again after two months of silence. Lookonchain counted 25,700 ETH, about $61.6M, sent into Tornado Cash over two hours, with about 81,000 ETH still sitting in linked wallets per Arkham. On the one exploiter address we checked, we counted at least 48 deposits of 100 ETH in 25 minutes.
The users who were drained got their recovery tokens on Oct 1. Drift's verified losses come to 299.5M USDT, one DFX token per dollar. The recovery pool backing those tokens held about 3.1M USDT at launch, so a DFX redeemed for about 1 cent per dollar lost. The pool grows from Velocity's trading revenue, any recovered funds, and up to 127.5M USDT that Tether has committed.
So far the thief's ETH has done better than the victims' claims.

Qubic says 87.1% of the drained QU is frozen on the network. The other 12.9% went to MEXC, which froze the receiving account within about an hour. Exchanges have paused QUBIC deposits and withdrawals, and the price is down about 10% since the drain started.
If your seed fits one of those cases, move to a new seed from the fixed wallet once the chain restarts. Qubic says nobody from the team will message you first or charge for recovery.

Cysic's bridge attacker minted 10M CYS on BNB Chain. That is about 6.2% of the token's circulating supply.
The mint hit at 20:31 UTC+8 on Oct 17. CoinGecko shows an all-time low of $0.1063 seven minutes later. Cysic blacklisted the recipient at 21:47 UTC+8, 76 minutes after the mint. By then about 7.2M of the 10M had already left that address; 2.8M sat there when transfers were cut.
An hour before the mint, CYS was near $0.125. At that price the unauthorized 10M was worth about $1.25M. From $0.125 to the $0.106 ATL is a drop of about 15% in seven minutes. As of 20:11 UTC+8 Sunday the token was near $0.118.
Cysic says user wallets and the mainnet were not hit. The bridge stays suspended. Most of the printed tokens moved before the blacklist.

UNCX Vesting V2 losses hit about $1.49M across four chains. Blockaid first flagged about $86k on Ethereum a day earlier. That's roughly 17x in under a day.
The Oct 15 update puts about $969k on BNB Smart Chain, $242k on Ethereum, $169k on Robinhood Chain and $114k on Base. BSC alone is about 65% of the total. Blockaid counted 11 drain transactions, including copycats and MEV bots.
UNCX says the bug is isolated to Vesting V2. Liquidity pool lockers and legacy vesting were not hit. Ten tokens were involved. New-lock fees now sit above 1,000 ETH, the token fee is at 5%, and the team is working with law enforcement and SEAL 911. No funds returned yet.
A recovery plan is due this week. Until then, skip the affected vesting pools.

Good call treating the four-chain spread as one incident rather than four 👀 The awkward part of a locker exploit is that immovability is the product, so "just migrate the remaining locks" is the single action the contract was written to make hard. That is why a fee change lands on new locks while the older ones stay exactly where they are. The honest question is what share of still-locked value can be moved at all without a fresh contract and every project owner signing off 🛡️

كيف؟ 6 موجات من السرقات باستخدام عبارة استرداد مخترَنة. قام المخترِبون أولاً بسحب المحافظ الكبيرة يدوياً، ثم استخدموا سكربتات آلية.
6.3M $XRP تم تبديلها إلى Ethereum عبر THORChain، إضافةً إلى $BTC و$ETH و$Tron و$XLM التي تم الاستيلاء عليها أيضاً.
الإجراء المتخذ: أصدرت D'CENT تقريراً أولياً في 17 سبتمبر، وأخفَت السبب الجذري لأجل الأمان، وأضافت فحصاً للسلامة في أحدث تطبيق، وحثت جميع المستخدمين على إنشاء عبارة استرداد جديدة وترحيل الأصول فوراً. تلقت IoTrust أكثر من 110 بلاغاً.

💰 Estimated assets affected: $387.5 MILLION
The initial estimate was approximately $351.6M, with further on-chain tracing identifying additional assets, including Zcash and TRON-related transfers.
🔐 What was affected? • Part of Bitget’s Hot/Warm Wallet infrastructure • Cold Wallets were reported as secure • User account balances were reported unaffected
⛔ Withdrawals were temporarily suspended while Bitget conducted a security review. Deposits and trading remained operational.
