Bitcoin is once again reminding the market why it remains the king of crypto. As of early September 2026, $BTC is trading around the $80,000–$81,000 zone after a sharp rebound that saw it reclaim levels above $80K and push toward $81K–$82K in recent sessions.
The move wasn’t quiet. Short liquidations piled up (hundreds of millions in a short window), ETF flows showed some support, and the market shook off earlier pressure from hawkish Fed signals.
