CZ just debunked the viral "Binance hack was predicted" posts.
He said screenshot in Image 3 is 100% fake and screenshots/videos are easy to fake.
His best line: If someone can actually predict the future, they would short Bitcoin or bet on prediction markets to make millions — they wouldn't be posting for likes from a small account on X.
Hack is real ($6.3B). The predictions are fake engagement farming.
BINANCE - Security Incident Update #4 | Nov 1, 2026
What's happening: Withdrawals resume in phases. Phase 1 starts today, Nov 1, 06:00 - 09:00 UTC. Deposits were never affected.
Why it was paused: As a precaution to contain the incident, assess impact, restore services and complete security checks.
What teams did in this time: • Security review of affected services • Checked withdrawal infrastructure readiness • Worked with law enforcement & partners to trace/freeze/recover funds • Replenished stolen assets from company funds • Monitoring for residual risks Funds & Recovery: • User funds are safe. Binance will bear all losses, not users. • ∼90% of impacted amount covered (up from 80%), now ∼95% covered. Remaining 5% are less liquid tokens and taking longer to source. • BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, ZEC are 100% backed. Verify on PoR website. Withdrawal rollout: Phased by user demand from last week. Phase 1 networks/assets include BTC, ETH, BSC, TRX, SOL, XRP, ZEC, DOGE, TON, MATIC, AVAXC, ARBITRUM, BASE, OP, SUI and more.
Check the withdrawal page or network status page for live availability. Expect temporary delays due to high traffic - retry after a while if it fails.
Full post-incident report will be published after investigation is complete.
The crypto world just witnessed a historic security shock.
On October 29, hackers reportedly exploited Binance's hot-wallet infrastructure, resulting in approximately $6.3 BILLION in stolen crypto assets.
🔥 Here's what makes this incident massive:
🔹 Around $6.3B in assets affected. 🔹 Approximately $3B frozen through coordinated recovery efforts. 🔹 Binance says it will cover the losses. 🔹 Binance reported that 90% of the stolen assets had been replenished as of October 31.
💡 THE BIGGER LESSON:
Crypto isn't just about making profits. Security, transparency, and trust are equally important.
Even the world's largest exchanges are not immune to cyberattacks.
One question remains: Is SAFU enough to restore market confidence?
The weekly chart is showing some warning signs that investors shouldn't ignore.
The S&P 500 continues to print higher highs, but the RSI is forming lower highs — a classic Bearish Divergence.
Here’s what the chart suggests:
📉 6,900 – First potential downside target. 📉 6,350 – Major support zone and a possible deeper correction. 📊 A potential 19% pullback could bring the index toward its long-term moving average support.
However, the bigger bullish trend isn't necessarily over. If support holds and buyers step back in, the market could resume its upward journey toward new highs.
My takeaway: Don't ignore bearish divergence during a strong uptrend. Watch support levels, manage risk, and avoid chasing the market at the top.
Is this just a healthy correction, or the beginning of a bigger market reversal?
