Justin Sun Prize introduces public verification of proofs
Justin Sun Prize explained how mathematical prizes are awarded. Even if a researcher submits a correct proof, that does not automatically mean they will receive an award. First, the work undergoes a technical review; it then becomes a public claim that anyone can challenge within 14 days.
💎 FRAGMENT HAS REMOVED MANDATORY VERIFICATION (KYC)!
✈️ Great news for Telegram users. Fragment no longer requires identity verification for a number of transactions.
📸 You can now do the following without a passport or selfie: • Buy Telegram Stars with TON. • Buy Telegram Premium. • Withdraw Stars earned from channels. • Trade collectible usernames.
☝️ Previously, users had to complete KYC or turn to intermediaries for some of these actions.
👀 Removing verification will definitely hurt those who made money reselling Stars to users without KYC. But intermediaries won’t disappear entirely, since not everyone has TON or can pay for purchases with cryptocurrency.
👩❤️👨 The $6.3 billion Binance hack was linked to a love story, but there’s a catch!
❤️ A story went viral online claiming that the massive Binance hack was caused by a North Korean female spy who was dating an exchange engineer.
💻 The employee supposedly left his laptop unattended, and his girlfriend took advantage of the opportunity and helped steal $7 billion in cryptocurrency.
🕵️ The most interesting part is that this information began circulating with a reference to well-known blockchain investigator ZachXBT, but it turned out the whole romantic story was fake. ZachXBT never reported anything of the sort, and Binance representatives debunked the rumors.
🇰🇵 However, the North Korean connection is indeed part of the investigation. The FBI links the attack to the TraderTraitor group, and a compromised employee laptop was cited as the initial point of entry.
👀 I wouldn’t be surprised if a version soon emerges claiming the hackers met on Tinder and spent the stolen billions on a wedding!
Young mathematician Quanyu Tang wins Justin Sun Prize, with AI helping solve a difficult problem
Justin Sun Prize announced that it is recognizing the mathematical achievements of Quanyu Tang, a young researcher who has contributed to solving several well-known mathematical problems, including problems posed by Paul Erdős. Particular attention was drawn to his work on problem JSP-000866, in which the researcher used GPT-5.2 to identify a promising conjecture and then independently developed a mathematical proof.
🤣 Binance hacker sold $5 million worth of tokens for just $71!
💰 A wallet linked to the Binance hack tried to get rid of 908,793 PROM tokens worth around $5 million.
🤦♂️ But something went wrong. The attacker sent the tokens to an almost empty Uniswap V2 liquidity pool and received just 0.0316 ETH, or about $71, in return.
📉 Due to massive slippage, nearly all of the tokens’ estimated value was lost in the swap.
👀 Stealing billions and selling $5 million for 71 bucks takes some doing!
🎃 TELEGRAM HAS RELEASED UPGRADES FOR THE MASK GIFT!
🗓 This gift was released last year on October 31 at a price of 500 STARS, with a supply of 250,000.
🏴 Those who didn’t manage to buy one with Stars could get one on the secondary market for 3–5 GRAM. Unupgraded ones now cost around 25 GRAM, but just recently the floor rose to 40 GRAM.
🔨 The ability to craft upgrades won’t let the price fall below the initial price, so everyone who bought masks will make a profit!
👀 Buying unupgraded masks at this price is a big question mark—you’ll only break even if you get a rare model or a black background!
TRON surpasses 16 billion transactions, setting a new all-time blockchain record!
The TRON blockchain has reached another major milestone, with the total number of transactions across the network’s history exceeding 16 billion. That’s nearly two transactions for every person on the planet! The achievement is confirmed by data from the TRONSCAN blockchain explorer. As of October 31, 2026, the network had already processed more than 16 billion transactions, continuing to demonstrate high activity among users and financial services.
💰 Today is a special date for the entire crypto industry!
🪙 Exactly 18 years ago, on October 31, 2008, the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
📄 Just 9 pages of technical documentation describing the idea for a completely new financial system. People could send money directly to one another, without banks, intermediaries, or the need to trust a third party.
💻 A few months later, on January 3, 2009, the first Bitcoin block appeared, ushering in a new era of digital money.
🚀 Over these 18 years, the idea has grown into an industry with a trillion-dollar market cap. Bitcoin has weathered countless crises, bans, surges, and crashes, and today it is traded by the world’s largest financial institutions.
☝️ The irony is that Bitcoin was created as an alternative to the traditional financial system, and now that very system is actively investing in it.
👀 And most intriguingly, the identity of the person who came up with all this remains a mystery to this day. It all started with nine pages of an ordinary document. Who could have imagined where it would lead!
Bitcoin risks ending October with its worst performance in 12 years!
💰 $643.3 million flowed out of U.S. Bitcoin ETFs on October 30. BlackRock’s funds saw the biggest losses at −$233.7 million, followed by Fidelity at −$201 million. This ended a four-day streak of inflows. 💰 Ethereum ETFs lost another $155.85 million in a single day. Outflows have continued for five consecutive trading days, with the largest reduction coming from BlackRock’s ETHA at $76.64 million.
🦊 MetaMask has added a new feature to its extension that raises security concerns!
⚠️ The latest update to the popular crypto wallet introduced the ability to automatically modify the content of websites users visit.
💬 For example, on X (Twitter), the extension now turns cryptocurrency tickers like $BTC into interactive widgets with a price, chart, and the option to buy the token.
☝️ But there are a few unpleasant aspects: 🔴 The feature is enabled without the user’s separate consent. 🔴 MetaMask may misidentify tokens, creating a risk of buying the wrong asset. 🔴 Injecting third-party elements into pages and changing the CSP security policy potentially increase the attack surface.
🛡️ How do you turn it off? Open MetaMask → Settings → Preferences and display → turn off Ticker Widget.
👀 With crypto companies being hacked more and more often, innovations like this seem rather strange. Instead of making wallets more secure, developers are adding features that could potentially create additional risks. And the main question is: why are features like this enabled at all without the user’s prior consent?
TRONSCAN Launches Unified Token Burn Dashboard for the TRON Ecosystem
TRONSCAN has announced the launch of the Ecosystem Token Burn Dashboard, a new analytics dashboard that lets users track token burns across various projects in the TRON ecosystem in one place. Users can now independently explore the volume of tokens burned, historical trends, and recent transactions without having to consult separate sources of information.
Details of the largest hack in cryptocurrency history!
🤯 The Binance hack turned out to be much more serious than anticipated yesterday. The exchange officially acknowledged the incident and revealed the initial investigation findings! 💵 The key figures: 🔴 $6.3 billion is the preliminary scale of the hack. 🟢 Around $3 billion was frozen in cooperation with partners.
🩸 A serious sell-off is underway in the U.S. tech sector. This isn’t a full-blown stock market crash yet; it’s mostly a decline in the biggest tech companies and AI-related stocks.
👀 I’m off to sleep! Tomorrow we’ll see how this whole mess ends!
🥷 It looks like a huge wave of hacks has hit the crypto market!
🔴 First, hackers attacked Polymarket. Preliminary estimates put the damage at $3.46 million.
🔴 Next up: Binance! Suspicious transfers totaling up to $2.77 billion were detected from the exchange’s wallets.
🚨 CZ confirmed that the situation looks like a Binance hack! Tether and Circle quickly froze $971 million in USDT and $823 million in USDC—almost $1.8 billion! He said users’ funds are safe and that any potential losses are expected to be fully reimbursed.
🔴 Rumors are circulating that ByBit was also hacked for $500 million, but there’s no confirmation yet.
👀 And all of this happened in just a few hours! What’s next? I really hope this is where the crypto apocalypse ends. October being October!
TRON and Anchorage Digital: A New Stage in Entering the U.S. Market
TRON continues to expand its presence in the traditional financial system. One of the most important steps was its integration with Anchorage Digital, a U.S. platform for institutional digital assets that includes the first federally chartered cryptocurrency bank in the United States.
🚨 KUCOIN EXCHANGE STOPS SERVING USERS FROM RUSSIA AND BELARUS!
🤔 Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has officially announced that it is discontinuing all of its services for users from Russia and Belarus. The decision takes effect immediately!
❓ What will happen to the funds?
🔴Users whose accounts have been restricted will receive individual notifications with deadlines for closing positions and withdrawing funds. If you haven’t received a notification, no additional action is required for now. However, accounts remain subject to the exchange’s current restrictions.
👀 A reminder: Bitget and MEXC made similar decisions earlier. I recommend not waiting for a notification and taking care of withdrawing your assets in advance!
⚠️ A serious vulnerability has been discovered in Telegram!
🦠 Information is spreading online again claiming that attackers can infect a device simply by sending a special animated sticker. Supposedly, the user doesn’t even need to tap anything.
☝️ But there’s an important clarification!
🔍 Researchers at the Zero Day Initiative did discover a vulnerability in Telegram’s animation processing library. It was initially rated 9.8 out of 10.
⚙️ However, technical details were published on October 15, the rating was lowered to 7.0, and exploiting the vulnerability requires user interaction.
🛡️ So, the vulnerability is real, but the claim that any user could lose access to their device just by receiving a single sticker has not been confirmed.
👀 Just to be safe, I recommend updating Telegram to the latest version and not opening suspicious files or stickers!
