✈️ A vulnerability was discovered in calls in versions of Telegram for Android released between March 2022 and September 2026 that allowed malicious code to be executed. The vulnerability was discovered by the startup NebuSec using the GPT-5.4 AI model.

✈️ At the OffensiveCon security conference in Tokyo, Aziz Saifeldin presented a talk on a critical vulnerability in an outdated Telegram sticker engine. The recording of the presentation has not yet been published, but the announcement indicates that the vulnerability allowed malicious code to be executed on iOS devices.

We leave the audience with a difficult question: Should this model—the ability to execute actions without user interaction (“zero-click”), fully controlled by the provider of a secure messaging service—as a security measure, an architectural risk, or something more akin to a “backdoor”?

The most absurd thing about crypto: everyone talks about decentralization, but their wallets, signal groups, trading bots, and airdrop tasks are all crammed into one Telegram.

At OffensiveCon Tokyo the other day, researcher Saifeldeen Aziz talked about a Telegram 0-click vulnerability. The issue is in the rlottie library, which renders animated stickers: combine a memory vulnerability with a validation bypass, he says, and you can achieve code execution on iOS. “0-click” means you don’t have to tap anything—just having the sticker land in the chat is enough.

Telegram’s position is that its servers validate stickers, so the attack can be stopped. The researcher was challenging that claim right there. The full details and patches aren’t all out yet, so I’m not going to take a side on exactly how far the attack can go.

But I don’t care who wins the argument. If you’ve got a bot wallet connected to TG on your phone, have imported your private key into some trading bot, and strangers are constantly dropping stickers in your groups, that setup is absurd to begin with. People don’t get robbed because a vulnerability is so sophisticated; it’s because they keep their entire net worth in an app where anyone can message them.

My approach is pretty basic: turn off automatic downloads in TG, turn off DMs from strangers, keep the app updated, and don’t use any TG bots with my main funds. Big money stays in cold storage; I use TG just to chat.

⚠️ A serious vulnerability has been discovered in Telegram!

🦠 Information is spreading online again claiming that attackers can infect a device simply by sending a special animated sticker. Supposedly, the user doesn’t even need to tap anything.

☝️ But there’s an important clarification!

🔍 Researchers at the Zero Day Initiative did discover a vulnerability in Telegram’s animation processing library. It was initially rated 9.8 out of 10.

⚙️ However, technical details were published on October 15, the rating was lowered to 7.0, and exploiting the vulnerability requires user interaction.

🛡️ So, the vulnerability is real, but the claim that any user could lose access to their device just by receiving a single sticker has not been confirmed.

Just to be safe, I recommend updating Telegram to the latest version and not opening suspicious files or stickers!

• On-chain is weak. TVL is down $700M+ from its 2024 peak, and the token is -41% over a year.
• Durov is a single point of failure. Every Durov headline is a GRAM headline.
• Thin market. Daily volume is under 1% of market cap.

Durov's "Make TON Great Again" plan is 4 of 7 steps done. 3 are still secret.
My guess: the next step pumps it again. Whether it sticks depends on one thing: does it bring real money in (payments, revenue), or just another announcement?

• Base (45%): chop between $1.15 and $1.40 waiting for the next step
• Bear (30%): daily close under $1.156 opens $1.00–1.05
• Bull (25%): new MTONGA step + real wallet numbers → $1.52, then $1.74

🎯 My plan
Scaling in slowly near $1.20. Taking profit around $1.50 and $2. Out on a daily close under $1.15.
