The thing that caught my attention most about TermMax is a fairly simple idea: capital shouldn’t just sit idle.
In traditional lending, I send USDT/USDC and wait for a suitable borrower. If it doesn’t match, the source of funds may remain unused, wasting opportunities to generate yield.
TermMax takes a different approach: unmatched capital can generate floating yield through Morpho. When there is a borrower, the capital can shift to a fixed rate, so I can know in advance the expected yield over the term.
Even more notably, TermMax doesn’t operate on its own—it combines multiple layers:
Morpho → liquidity and floating yield
Gauntlet → risk management/vault
TermMax → fixed-rate marketplace and options
I think the interesting part is that the capital flow can keep working instead of merely waiting for borrowers.
