What if the next CPU shock isn’t about demand — but supply?
I’m watching
#CPUWatch because the real signal may be hiding behind the headline numbers. Rising compute demand, tighter chip availability, cloud infrastructure pressure, and AI workloads can quickly turn CPU capacity into a market bottleneck.
For me, the interesting part isn’t simply whether prices move. I’m watching inventory, utilization, production capacity, and how quickly supply can respond.
If demand keeps accelerating while capacity stays tight, the squeeze can spread far beyond CPUs — into servers, AI infrastructure, cloud costs, and ultimately the companies building around them.
That’s where I see the opportunity: the market often reacts to the obvious number after the pressure is already visible.
I’m staying focused on the supply-demand imbalance.
